Abstract
Ceramics have a lifespan that parallels that of humanity. Part of this durability and persistence is attributed to the narratives that humans have developed throughout history in relation to ceramics. These narratives stem from rituals customs, and religious ceremonies, and are deeply influenced by the history, culture, and daily lives of people. The present study aims to investigate the narratives of the people of Tabriz regarding ceramics, focusing on the concepts of "sakhsi" and "sakhsi perspective."  To address the two main research questions: 1) What is the narrative of the people of Tabriz regarding the concepts of "sakhsi" and ceramics? 2) How can the sakhsi perspective of the people of Tabriz towards ceramics be classified from the viewpoint of narrative research? This study will utilize a conceptual framework grounded in narrative research to explore these questions. The method of data collection involves conducting interviews with the people of Tabriz, along with transcription, coding, and classification of the concepts. The statistical population consists of 40 individuals, both men and women, aged between 50 and 80 years. Purposeful sampling and theoretical saturation of the data will be employed for sampling. The results of the analytical findings indicate that the sakhsi perspective of the people in the Tabriz region is structured around 15 primary concepts, 7 secondary themes, and 5 main themes. In the general perception of the people of Tabriz, ceramic vessels are regarded as valueless and fragile, which is why they are referred to as "sakhsi." According to the research findings, the five main themes identified are as follows: a) Perception of ceramics as worthless, b) Ceramics as a symbol of rural life, c) Low quality of ceramic products, d) Remembrance of the lives of ancestors and nostalgia, e) Religious identity, f) A health-oriented lifestyle with a sakhsi character.

Introduction
This article aims to examine the narratives that the people of Tabriz tell about pottery and the meanings that arise from this term. During interviews, participants were asked to share whatever came to mind upon hearing the word "pottery." These narratives revealed that, in the public perception of the people of Tabriz, pottery is considered to be a worthless object that breaks easily. Consequently, in the culture of the Azerbaijan region, pottery is referred to as "sakhsi." Additionally, some interviewees identified pottery by the names "Saein" or "Siyin." Others mentioned "At Palchikh" or "Ghermezi Torbakh" or "At Torbakh." All three of these terms — Sakhsi, Saein, and At Palchikh — are recognized as meaning pottery; based on the interviewees' explanations, the term "sakhsi" is used more frequently than the others and is more widely recognized among the locals. Given that no studies have been conducted regarding sakhsi and pottery narratives in Tabriz, there is a necessity for an independent research study to explore the narratives of the people of Tabriz regarding the concept of sakhsi. Therefore, the primary objective of this research is to investigate the narratives of the people of Tabriz about pottery in shaping the concept of sakhsi and sakhsi-vision, which has been developed based on the conceptual framework of narrative research and data analysis.
