Iran's traditional textile is an art with a long history that started from the time of the Elamites and reached its peak in the Sassanid era, and with the beginning of the Islamic era, the ground for their expansion to other parts of the world, especially the western Islamic lands, was provided. Also, motifs whose motifs go back to the Sassanid period were imitated in the art of Iran, the Islamic period and other countries in the periods after this dynasty and were used as decorative motifs in textiles. The aim of the research is to compare the textile works of Sassanid and early Islamic Iran (4th to 8th century AD) and Egyptian Copts (7th and 8th century AD) in the Akhmim region based on the mythological approach of Georges Dumzil. Therefore, what are the differences and commonalities of the role of the material, the type and the type of texture of the Sasanian and early Islamic and Coptic Egyptian textiles? The research method is descriptive and analytical-comparative and collecting information through written sources and pictures in museums with the sampling method of available items. The results show that motif, color and background, type of fiber, type of texture, method of weaving and decoration method in the Sasanian - early Islamic and Coptic period respectively in four groups of animals and birds, plant, human, abstract and geometric, dull and sharp and Bright, linen and wool and silk, twill and tapestry, S and Z weaving, symmetrical in the form of medallions (both periods), square, swirl, zigzag, rhombus. Also, animal, vegetable and human motifs respectively in Sassanid and early Islamic fabrics, the act of ruling (Shahriari), dominance (Shilshuri), the indicator of survival (Professionalism), only the indicator of survival, the action of dominance, and in Coptic animal and plant fabrics only the indicator of survival. And we witness the three acts of domination, dominance and survival index in human beings. It introduces the effects of the ruling discourses in this era on the formation and reconstruction of the ruling class system and the establishment of purposeful relations between the members and the prosperity of a society depends on the systematic connection of these classes, and the condition of that is the existence of a ruler who can connect the elements of society and a Create a unified whole.
