ارتباط میان انسان و اشیاء دور از ذهن مینماید؛ اما در طول تاریخ میان انسان و غیرانسان تعاملی برقرار بوده است. انسان بهواسطۀ نیازهایش دست به خلق مصنوعات زده و آفریدههایش بهتدریج خصوصیات خود را به زندگی او دادهاند. از این گذر اهمیت بافتههای حصیری بهمثابه شبکهای غیرانسانی در شکلدهی به زندگی مردم بافق مهم مینماید؛ یعنی اشیاء حصیری کاربردی اجزایی مؤثر و معنابخش از کل منسجم فرهنگ سنتی بافق بوده و بهمثابه نمادی کلیدی در هویت بافق درک میشوند؛ بنابراین، پرسش این است که چگونه فرآوردههای حصیری بافق در دادوستد با انسان، زیست هویتی او را شکل دادهاند؟ تعامل بافتههای حصیری و مردم بافق به چه نحو منجر به تبدیل مصنوعات به نشانهای هویتی شده است؟ هدف از پژوهش حاضر، درک جایگاه بافتههای حصیری در تعیین هویت زیستی مردم بافق است. در ضمن طبقهبندی مصنوعات حصیری بر اساس لیف نخل؛ پیسک، مغ و سیس نیز دغدغهی پژوهش خواهد بود. بهنظر میرسد میان بافتههای حصیری و شکلگیری هویت فرهنگی مردم بافق ارتباط معناداری وجود دارد. به بیانی دیگر، مصنوعات حصیری بافق در شکلدهی به هویت اشخاص در اقلیم گرم و خشک کویر مرکزی ایران مؤثر بودهاند. پژوهش کیفی حاضر در دستۀ بنیادی قرار میگیرد و با روشی توصیفی_تحلیلی به مطالعهی بافتههای حصیری بافق بر اساس مادهی اولیه و مبتنی بر رویکرد کنشگر- شبکه میپردازد. شیوهی گردآوری اطلاعات کتابخانهای و میدانی بوده است. ابزار تحقیق در بخش کتابخانهای فیشبرداری و در قسمت میدانی، مشاهده و مصاحبههای بهدستآمده از سفر به بافق است. نتیجه آنکه، بافتههای حصیری بافق حاصل پیوند دانش بومی در طراحی و ساخت محصول و شناخت نیازهای اساسی مردم هستند. انسان در تعامل با محیط طبیعی و بر اساس مؤلفهی اقلیم به آفرینش پرداخته و در نهایت، ویژگیهای جغرافیایی موجب بافت مصنوعات حصیری اقلیمی شده و در طول تاریخ خصوصیات بافتهها به انسان منتقلشدهاند.
